Outside the Jukebox
We’re proud to play host to such a wonderful group of writers. A lot of them don’t confine their skills to our site, and we thought that you might be interested in some of the other things they’ve been up to. So, here is just a small recent selection. We’re planning to make this a weekly thing.
- Alfred Soto reviewed King’s We Are King for Spin, and Suede and Kevin Gates on his blog.
- Abby Waysdorf wrote a piece called Every Day is Halloween about goth in the mainstream.
- Josh Langhoff has written A Guide to Regional Mexican Radio In Houston.
- Anthony Easton wrote Girl Crush(ed), about Little Big Town’s hit.
- Danilo Bortoli wrote Beyoncé and When Music Writing Becomes Activism for Popmatters, and reviewed Rihanna’s ANTI for Unrecorded.
If you still want more, there’s the sidebar to the right, and the archives of One Week One Band and Swoonstep feature a lot of Jukebox writers and are always, always worth checking out.
I approve of this.
