Juana Giaimo: Chino y Nacho appeared in the Latin American music scene to give typical melodramatic love songs an upbeat and warm spirit. But Daddy Yankee’s constant annoying interruptions of a rather enjoyable melody prove that they are trying too hard.

Jonathan Bogart: Chino y Nacho are always reliable for an explosion of melodic joy — they may be the happiest reggaetoneros around — and this sweet love song, even if it suffers from a by-the-numbers production, seems tailor-made for wedding season, which the video leans into at nauseating length. But they even got Daddy Yankee to sound giddy; that alone earns a lot of goodwill from me.

Will Adams: Either it’s insistent dancepop, or the kick drum is way too high in the mix. There’s charm in the drawn out I-V-vi-IV progression attempting to keep things light, but it’s sullied by the heavy pump and every vocalist pushing too hard.

Cassy Gress: I would jam this into the overstuffed pocket folder of “generic sappy boy band declarations of love”, if not for the very end part I’ve heard on some versions of this, where BAH GAWD IT’S THE UNDERTAKER.

Lilly Gray: By the end of this song, Daddy Yankee and co.’s dogged entreaty for my hand has worn me down and I am actually bobbing along to the chorus; I assume this is exactly how people end up accepting proposals in real life.
