Micha Cavaseno: If I could submit a jpeg of a pair of True Religions, the one picture of Bankroll PJ ogling racks, or a .gif of myself strutting and skanking while making gun fingers to this song, and have these be the basis of my review, I would. But this is a mostly text-based site. I have no idea if that’s what Davido’s talking about; Meek has been saying the same verse for half a decade now on features, so I KNOW that’s what he’s talking about. So in that regard, he’s introducing me to Davido, and with this barrier we’re still saying the same things: “get money,” “fuck them, man,” etc. I’ve been rehashing this theme since I was a baby in my listening tastes. It’s never getting old as long as it still sounds this hard.

Katherine St Asaph: A dynamic, dramatic arrangement that drifts nicely in background and foreground alike, yet it cringes at every point that it should bang. Meek helps, but only so much.

Brad Shoup: Imitative melodic phrases: that’s what we’ve been missing over here! He’s getting mushy about his fans, but the countermelody is a regal intimation that he’s earned it. Shizzi punctures his own grand gestures with disco string hits: these guys are sharp, you know.

Thomas Inskeep: A great synthesis, Nigeria’s hottest rapper teaming up with one of America’s biggest new talents. Producer Shizzi makes the beat hot and complimentary to Davido’s dancehall-cum-hip hop flow; this is how you make a solid club banger.

Will Adams: In which Meek Mill pops in through the revolving door while Davido reminisces. That piano sounds straight out of GarageBand’s Emotional Piano loops.

Ramzi Awn: There’s just something about Meek Mill. And as for Davido, he carries the track remarkably. Great porch song. All I need is that last beer that I drank last night.

Alfred Soto: It defines “okay.” Meek sounds muzzled and Davido does a variant on dancehall. The backing track is ear-catching: sampled scratched vocals, hi-hat, piano, guitar peals.
