    This ruined the magic for me. I felt like fucking Dorothy finding the wizard behind the curtain or whatever it was that happened at the end of The Wizard of Oz. I haven’t watched the movie in over ten years so it’s a little hazy.

    Writers are always better at writing than speaking.

    Jacques, you are a little antagonistic, but yes, my thoughts are better when composed and edited. As are most people’s thoughts, and still podcasts are wildly popular! What I find interesting about your dissent is that you’ve secretly admitted you prefer reading to listening. Was hearing our voices like confronting the uncanny valley? Were we suddenly human, maybe too human? What if someday this becomes a video podcast, will it be even more unbearable? At the end of the movie Dorothy wakes up and realizes it was all a dream.

    I think I would like a video podcast. Although I will continue listening to the audio podcast, and shading it when appropriate.
